New affordable homes development announced for Ferryhill

In partnership with national housebuilder, Gleeson Homes we are set to deliver a new affordable housing development in Ferryhill. All Saints phase two, located close to our Southside development will provide 53 homes for social rent and rent to buy, with phased completions scheduled between summer 2026 and spring 2028.

The development will include a mix of two, three, and four-bedroomed homes, as well as two-bedroom bungalows, designed to meet a wide range of needs. All homes will feature modern layouts and be fitted with Air Source Heat Pumps, helping residents reduce energy costs and environmental impact.

This collaboration combines our expertise in social housing with Gleeson’s experience in building high-quality, cost-effective homes that are affordable for everyone. Together, we’re committed to expanding access to sustainable, affordable housing in Ferryhill.

Sean Brodie, Executive Director of Finance and Investment said: "Our partnership with Gleeson Homes marks an exciting step forward in our vision to deliver high-quality, affordable homes in our communities. The All Saints phase 2 development reflects our commitment to innovation, sustainability, and collaboration—bringing together the best of social housing and private sector expertise to create homes and communities that people can be proud of."

Andrew Davies, Divisional Managing Director at Gleeson Homes, said: “We are proud to see our relationship with Livin continue to flourish, with each new project growing in ambition and impact. This collaboration on phase two of our All Saints development in Ferryhill marks a significant milestone, not only in terms of scale, but in the way we are working together. By combining its deep understanding of social housing with Gleeson’s commitment to building high-quality, affordable homes, we are delivering real, lasting change for communities."

We have made a commitment to deliver high quality, sustainable homes, which meet the needs of customers, in our business strategy Plan A 2025-28.
